Frequently asked questions

How do I print a calendar?

Open any month (or the full year) and press the Print button — your browser's print dialog opens with a clean, full-page layout: no menus, no buttons, just the calendar. Both portrait and landscape work, on Letter, Legal, A4, and 11×17 paper.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every calendar on this site — printed, PDF, or Excel — is free for personal, school, and business use. No sign-up, no watermarks, no limits.

Where are my notes saved?

Notes you write on days are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device only. They never reach our servers, and they reappear whenever you return in the same browser.

What's the difference between PDF and Excel downloads?

PDFs are fixed and print-perfect — best when you just want paper. Excel templates open in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers so you can type plans into the day cells before printing.

Can I make the week start on Monday?

Yes — every month and year page has a Sun/Mon toggle, and Monday versions have their own addresses you can bookmark. The calendar builder and PDF downloads support both week starts too.

Which holidays are shown?

US federal holidays for any year — see the full list with dates and countdowns on the holidays page, or press Add holidays on any month to overlay them on the grid.

Can I customize colors, titles, or layouts?

Use the calendar builder: choose a title, theme color, serif or sans headings, week start, any combination of months, layouts from one to twelve months per page, photos, and an optional notes section.

Do you have school-year calendars?

Yes — August-through-July academic calendars as a single PDF, one or two months per page, for the current and nearby school years.
